What cosmetics can't reach

Hair loss can involve hormones, health conditions, medications, life events, nutrition, autoimmune processes and inherited patterns. None of those is addressed by conditioner.

Spending months trying products can delay identifying something that has an actual treatment path.

Signs worth getting evaluated

  • Sudden or heavy shedding, or shedding that persists for weeks
  • Visible thinning, a widening part, or a receding hairline
  • Bald patches or areas of complete loss
  • Scalp pain, burning, scaling, sores or persistent itch alongside loss
  • Loss accompanied by fatigue, weight changes or other symptoms
  • Breakage or thinning at the edges after tight styling

What Hairavie will and won't say

Hairavie does not diagnose conditions, name a cause or recommend prescription treatment. It will point you toward evaluation when the pattern you describe falls outside cosmetic hair care.

That's not a limitation to work around. It's the line between education and medicine.

How Hairavie knows this

Hairavie cites peer-reviewed research, scientific reviews, reference textbooks, dermatology organisations and government health resources. Beauty blogs are never used as scientific authority.
